The Upper Cape Alternative Gift Market (AGM) is an annual community event that offers people an opportunity to make donations to nonprofit organizations as gifts for friends and family members.

Ten local and ten global nonprofit organizations are carefully vetted and selected to be part of the Market.  These organizations meet real and urgent needs in our community or around the globe.

Falmouth Jewish Congregation is one of seven local congregations serving on the Steering Committee for the AGM, and many of our members participate as volunteers and/or shoppers. The event takes place mid-November, usually the weekend of Veterans Day, at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church in downtown Falmouth across from the green.  2016 marked the 10th anniversary year, and it was marked by record-setting community generosity.  The two-day event took in $52,000+ for our 20 nonprofits and fair trade tables.
