2019 Summer Jewish Film Festival at Falmouth Jewish Congregation

Tuesdays, July 2 - August 6 and again on August 27

The 2019 season is now over, leaving us with memories of the ways we were prodded, surprised, enlightened and entertained by a rich mix of seven documentaries and dramatic features. Films ranged in origin from Israel to Denmark to Slovakia and the U.S. We learned of Dr. Ruth's youth spent in a Swiss orphanage, we fictional portrayal of the larger-than-life adventures of French author Romain Gary and of the Jewish bourgeoisie in late 19th-century Denmark, and we got an early exposure to the now-on-big-screens, popular Palestinian dramedy "Tel Aviv on Fire."

Thanks to attendees for working with our new on-line ticketing, which significantly streamlines the entry process.

View the past year's schedule & return next spring to purchase your tickets online.

If you wish to receive pre-screening notices and background information for the films, contact festival curator Pamela Rothstein, FJC's Director of Lifelong Learning. Pamela will add your name to our mailing list. Send an email to: pbrothstein@comcast.net.
